Welcome to the homepage for the OSU Mountaineers! 

We are THE outdoor pursuits club at The Ohio State University, and would love for you to join us.  Some of the activities you can expect to get into with us are:  Rock climbing, mountain biking, mountaineering, hiking, backpacking, adventure racing, kayaking, canoeing, slacklining, skydiving, caving, skiing, etc.  If you want to have fun outside, this is the club for you.  Check out the picture gallery to see some of the members in action.

Our next meeting will be Monday June, 1st.  As usual the meeting will be at 8:00 PM in Dreese Labs, room 113.  Just walk in the main entrance off of Neil Avenue, we meet in the big lecture hall.  Dues for the quarter are $15, or $25 for the rest of the year, which will give you access to everything the club has to offer.   Come to a meeting to learn more.

Why Join?  Besides all of the trips we go on (see upcoming trips page), becoming a member gets you access to our gear room which is stocked with everything you need to get out and do what you love doing best!  Want to get away for a weekend?  We have sleeping bags, pads, tents, backpacks, harnesses, ropes, belay devices, stoves - everything you need!  All the money we collect through dues is put directly back into the club whether it be to buy new club gear, equipment, guide books, or for our quarterly late night event!  Best of all, by just showing your membership card you will receive discounts at several retailers online and in Columbus:
