Welcome to the premier outdoor pursuits club of The Ohio State University.

The OSU Mountaineers strive to provide all levels of outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to meet and pool their combined knowledge, experience, and camaraderie for everyone to enjoy. We educate members about a variety of outdoor adventures, including safe and proper techniques and methods, such as climbing, hiking, backpacking, mountaineering, mountain biking, paddling, caving, etc.

Our hope is to create an environment in which members feel comfortable enough to lead trips and introduce new activities to the club. Moreover, we endeavor to provide environmental service opportunities and promote outdoor and environmental education through workshops, outings, and presentations.
